CharactersThe cationic hydrolyzed keratin is a quaternized derivative of hydrolyzed keratin from wool. One of the primary structural proteins that make up the hair, nails and stratum corneum of the skin is keratin. It should be mentioned that the structure of human hair and keratin, which is derived from wool, are most similar. Keratin is rich in cysteine, the amino acid that bonds together the helix of the protein and gives the hair physical resistance as well as moisture. It can effectively heal the damaged area of the hair and improve texture thanks to the cationic character of the hydrolyzed keratin, while also having anti-static properties.
