The hydrolyzed wheat protein is derived from wheat, which is a natural and renewable source. It contains a plenty of acidic amino acids, especially glutamic acid, providing moisturizing effect. Besides, it also has a little amount of cystine, which is the amino acid giving strength to the hair. The hydrolyzed wheat protein functions as a conditioning agent for both skin and hair, and it is recommended for use in skincare and haircare products.
